Kerala PSC has issued two different notifications for Assistant Prison Officer recruitment. Category number 456/2016 is for male candidates and category number 457/2016 for female candidates. The salary scale of both male and female Assistant Prison Officer in Kerala is 20000 - 45800 Indian Rupees per month. It is a unit wise recruitment and the expected vacancies of Assistant Prison Officers in each units ( Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Kannur) is listed below. Both men and women candidates must have SSLC or equivalent to apply for Assistant Prison Officer. In addition to written test, they have to pass a physical efficiency test conducted by Public Service Commission. 

Kerala PSC has announced the examination date for the post of Assistant Prison Officer (Men and Women). Examination date is 27-October-2018 ( 01.30 PM to 03.15PM). Public Service Commission wants all the candidates to generate their hall-ticket on or before 11-Aug-2018.

The PSC notified for the University Assistant. The selection is based on a PSC Competitive Exam. The following are the syllabus of the exam.

The exam is scheduled on 24 May 2016. The medium of exam is English. Duration is 75 minutes. There will be 100 questions for 100 marks.  All the questions will be of objective multiple choice. Each question carries one mark. There will be negative mark for wrong answers. 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
